School is back in Session

Well, the fun is over. I so enjoyed this long break from school. The holidays were so much fun. I really didn't want to go back but Mike won't let me stay home. I'm taking Pedi and Family this semester. It will have lots of clinical hours and tons of papers but I'm almost DONE.
So if I don't write, call or see you for a while it's not personal. When everything is done there will be one BIG PARTY.

A LEGO Nut

Alex has turned 10 and his only request is Legos. He loves those tiny plastic pieces, he is in the Star Wars and Sponge Bob phase. This obsession has been going on for about 2 yrs. now and he has millions of those sharp little squares. Mike and Alex will spend hours on a project, but the smile on his face is worth all the pain that I feel when I step on a stray lego piece.

Takes a Whip'n and keeps Tick'n

After 8 peaceful years of co-existing, Rex became the target of Ben's aggression (blue heeler).

We had 3 scary but not life threatening attacks in the last month......

Then Saturday Ben went for the kill. Rex is one tough mutt. He had bilateral flailed chest (broken ribs on each side), bilateral collapsed lungs, right shoulder torn open, and major blood loss. The Vet can't believed not only did he survive, but was walking on his leg prior to surgery and never became short of breath. Today he is back to his happy little mutant self, drain comes out tomorrow, staples in 10 days. Fur back in 2 months.

Ben has been re-homed with his maker.

Jessi's New Face

When ever little bit gets upset or disagrees with you this is the new face you will get.

What she doesn't realize just how cute she can be. Even Mad

My Brother is engaged!!!!

My sweet Brother thinks he has found the one....I agree.

Kacie is a keeper and so much fun. They spent the weekend with me. It is hard to believe he has become a man, it still think of him as a sweet 10 yr. old.

The two of them are a good fit and I can't wait for their wedding. I had the honor of taking the engagement picture.

ARE THESE MY KIDS...

Today Mike went back to work...so I slept in.


Alex and Jessi got up and did the following:
Cleaned their rooms
Cleaned the game room
Picked up the Front room, kitchen, foyer
Cleaned the Mud room (Doggie Room)
Ran the Dishwasher
Made Breakfast
and then brought me Coffee to bed to wake me up.



These are the best kids ever....I hope this is a new tradition

A New Year...

Every year we try to stay up but rarely make it. This year was no different.
I was able to get off work a little early, so we had crackers and cheese.
Then I pretended I was going to bed and before I knew it everyone was in our bed...including the puppies. So we rang in the new year with snores and laughter.

We are excited about 2008, because I graduate this year.
