I hope this will keep everyone connected and updated on our Crazy family. With two kids, two full time jobs, graduate school and lots of farm animals we are always up to our ears in chaos and fun.
I'm a Mom of two cute kiddos, both adopted from Bulgaria. I've been a nurse for 14 yrs. I graduated as a nurse practitioner in Dec. 08. Now I have my dream job.
Ryan won 1st place in the Dallas UIL one act play. HE was Wiley in "Wiley and the Hairy man". He was so good, he totally got into his character. The kids love watching Ryan in the play.
This is a right of passage for every 5 yr old in Krum,TX. Jessi didn't like the brown horse Mike made her, a little PINK paint and some glam fixed everything. She was very serious about her foot work, the poor little guy had no chance of leading at all.
It was a crazy drive home, but the fun we had in the 9 inches was well worth the hassle. The puppies loved the snow. They would get these huge snowballs on their fur. It looked so funny
Alex spent hours outside playing, Krum took the next day as snow day as well. So the kids were so excited about missing school. Bouncing snow is more fun than falling snow.
Life is very stressful right now with school, clinicals, work and kids. I took the first test of the semester today and have 2 more this week. I'm at least a bit closer to graduation. I keep praying this will pay off one day. If I can manage to keep my sanity and not drive everyone else crazy it will be mircle.
Here is to having one test done, Mike made be a rack of Lamb to celebrate.
After 11 yrs our kitchen floor has taken a beaten. Between normal wear and tear, we have had a boat load of animals in the mud room over the years (including sick calves). Our new puppies decided to help with the destruction of the floor by tearing up the edges and eating it.
So we picked out new flooring, more modern and less dated then old blue diamond flooring. I must commend Mike on getting everything replaced including the baseboards in one day.
The best part is the floor looks like a beige stone with imperfections, so spills and nicks just look like part of the floor.
Every semester you wonder if you'll get a good clinical site. Well, my pedi site it is great. My instructor is also my preceptor. She lets me go in and see the patients independently, then she comes in to confirm my diagnosis. I hope everyone got the flu shot this year half my kiddos had the flu including a 7 wk old.
She also know all the best places to eat. This is going to be a great semester.
